Michael Trueman is the senior partner of Trueman. He is a specialist advocate and has been a Solicitor Advocate with rights to act in all courts since 1994. He has acted in criminal, family and personal injury trials and has extensive experience of all types of litigation and disputes.
He is a member of the Law Society Children Panel, Law Society Family Law Panel, Law Society Personal Injury Panel and Resolution.

Georgia is a partner in the firm, having qualified in 1997. She practices all areas of family law, including privately funded matrimonial and financial matters, and private and publically funded children work. She specialises in Child Care work, acting primarily for children and hheir Guardians in Care and Rule 9.5 Proceedings and also in Adoption proceedings.
She is an accredited specialist through Resolution and she is Vice-Chairman of the Oxford resolution Committee. She is also on the Children Panel and Family Law Panel. She undertakes the majority of the advocacy in her cases.

Frances is a partner in the firm and qualified as a Solicitor in 2002, having raised a family and worked in the voluntary sector working for Citizen’s Advice Bureau, Mental Health Advocacy and Parentline for a number of years.
She specialses in Family Law with a special interest in Public Law proceedings. She is a member of the Children Panel and has considerable experience, representing children and parents in both Public and Private Law proceedings, including those where a Children’s Guardian is appointed under Rule 9.5 and applications for Special Guardianship Orders. She undertakes the majority of her own advocacy.

Lorraine qualified as a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives in 1998. She has extensive experience of advising and representing clients in cases involving:

Lorraine qualified in 2008 as one of the first 25 Legal Executive Advocates in Family Law which gives her the same rights of audience as solicitors in Family Law. She undertakes the advocacy in most of her cases.

John was admitted as a Solicitor in 2002, having previously been a Fellow of the Institute of Legal executives since 2000.
He has extensive experience of personal injury litigation and has represented claimants with injuries ranging from minor sprains to permanent brain damage and also in claims arising out of Road Traffic Accidents, accidents at work and slipping/tripping incidents.
He has achieved several high cost settlements and successfully conducted high profile liability claims.
John also conducts numerous other types of litigation, including contractual disputes, landlord and tenant matters and professional negligence claims.

Denise is qualified as a Fellow of the Institute of Legal executives with 10 years experience of residential conveyancing.
She deals with a comprehensive range of residential conveyancing matters, including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases. Re-mortgages, transfer of equity and any form of property transfer.
Denise also deals with shared ownership, unregistered and new build properties.

Ursula graduated in Law at Southampton University in 1994. After an alternative career as a rock ‘n’ roll lighting designer and businesswoman, she returned to law in 2001. She qualified as a Solicitor in March 2009.
She has specialised in family work over the last 6 years and has extensive knowledge in both child related and financial matrimonial and cohabitation matters. She undertakes her own advocacy wherever possible and is in the process of gaining Rights of Audience as a Solicitor Advocate.

Edward graduated in History at Oxford University before training as a Solicitor. He specialises in corporate and private client work.
He has advised on a wide variety of commercial matters, including business acquisitions and sales, shareholder agreements, partnership agreements, commercial agreements and employment contracts.
Edward is also experienced in Wills, probate and Trust work.

James qualified as a Solicitor in 2006 having graduated in Politics and Law at Cardiff University. He specialises in Family Law with experience of matrimonial proceedings and care cases, both public and private.

Madeleine obtained her degree in Law from Solent University, and studied her Legal Practice Course on a part-time basis whilst working at a firm in Reading as a paralegal. Having qualified as a Solicitor in October 2008, Madeleine went on to join the firm in September 2009.
